The surface beneath old paper is often unknown until a trial area is opened. Separate stripping from any subsequent plaster repairs and make allowances visible in the quote.

• Assessment before lining or painting

Planning the work

Allow time to assess and dry the exposed surface. Do not treat concealed repairs as included unless the written scope says so.

Before you enquire

Share the address, photographs of the surfaces and any access restrictions. Include your preferred timing and whether the building will remain occupied. Preparation, materials and any repairs can then be discussed as a defined scope.
