Preparation and specification

Joinery shows the quality of preparation in raking light. The brief should identify damaged edges, accumulated paint, open joints and hardware that needs protection or temporary removal.

Planning the work

Consider sheen alongside colour. A small sample on representative joinery helps assess how the finish sits against the wall colour.

Before you enquire

Share the address, photographs of the surfaces and any access restrictions. Include your preferred timing and whether the building will remain occupied. Preparation, materials and any repairs can then be discussed as a defined scope.
